What is the difference between debossing and embossing?

Estimated Reading Time: < 1 min

Embossing: This process creates a raised design on the surface of the material. Imagine a logo or text element that appears to be lifted off the surface, creating a three-dimensional effect.

Debossing: This technique creates a recessed design, essentially pushing the design element inwards. Think of a logo or pattern that appears sunken into the material, adding depth and a subtle elegance.
